This year, the 10K held in Ramsey will be moved to Tuesday 24th July from its previous Wednesday spot. This is to make way for an additional race on the Wednesday, extending the series to six races and making sure there is absolutely no rest at all for the wicked! More information on the new race will appear later when the details have been finalised.

We are pleased to announce that this year we will have two sponsors of the series. Laxey Partners Ltd continue their support and are joined by Up & Running who are great supporters of many athletics events on the island.

No Rest for the Wicked

Ballacloan Stadium The 'No Rest for the Wicked' series consists of five fabulous and different races in just 6 days around the beautiful Isle of Man. Whilst each race is run as an individual race, with its own prizes and presentation, No Rest for the Wicked competitors take part in one of two separate categories determined by their entry in either the Marathon or Half marathon.

Final placings in the competition are based on cumulative time from all five races entered, rather than points for positions, so no slacking just because you're in front of the next competitor!

Events start on Sunday July 22nd with the Isle of Man Marathon or Half-Marathon based in Ramsey and hosted by the IoM Veterans Athletes Club.

On the Monday the action moves to Peel where the Western Athletics Club host a short fell race on Peel Hill.

Tuesday sees a return visit to Ramsey for a 3 lap road race. This is the Northern 10K this time hosted by the Northern Athletics Club with signing on taking place beside the Lakeside cafe in Mooragh Park.

Plans are afoot to introduce a new race on Wednesday. Watch this space!

On Thursday the terrain changes from the relative flat roads of Ramsey for the hills around Foxdale and the The Anna Maria Cutillo Memorial 6 Miles, hosted by Manx Harriers.

Friday sees the final event take place, a trail run incorporating the Heritage Trail and once again hosted by the Western Athletics Club.

The final race is followed by a presentation at Peel Football Club and will include the awards for the series winners. There will also be exclusive T-shirts given to the first 15 who complete the Marathon series and the first 15 who complete the Half-Marathon series.
